Last days I used to think about it. Why children don't want to respect their teachers?
Recently, it became noticeable that pupils don't see in their teachers the persons, who should be the examples for them, the persons that have to be authorities for them. Appear such questions as: Why it happens? Why do children do what they want during the lessons? Why do they answer back to teacher's observations? Why school became a crowd of children without any control? There are a lot of questions, but I think that answer is very simple.
First of all, we have to pay attention to how parents treat the teachers of their children. There is a golden rule that should be remembered: If parents don't like the teacher, he/she wouldn't be appreciated by the child! Parents don't have to discus anything about the teacher when children are near, because they hear these words from persons who always will be higher for them- parents, their opinion always would be priceless for them. In such a case, all teacher's effort would be in vain, because for such children the teacher would never be an authority.
Of course, when child grows up, he decide for himself how to treat his teachers. But, once again, I'm returning to what I've said before, child who's parents were discussing a teacher when he was near, wouldn't see a teacher as a person who should be an example to him and it doesn't matter about which teacher were they speaking. In such a way parents ruins their child's impression about the teachers at all.
But it also happens that the teacher isn't respected just because the "authorities of the class" behave in such way. It's enough even one initiator. Parents must do everything possible to re-educate their children. They should enhance the reputation of a teacher to their children, because it will benefit them. Child will get more knowledge, if the teacher wouldn't be distracted by different observations to the class. Child wouldn't hurt a person which he respect, also the teacher that see the respect from students, unconsciously puts marks higher.
As a conclusion I'd say that all depends on family and only. If parents would treat teacher correctly, there would be no problems like that.
